Headshots

The headshot should be included in all adverts. If you don’t like any of your current headshots, take some new ones. If you angle the camera above your head and point it down on your face at an angle you can hide a lot of flaws like a chubby chin. You don’t need to pay a lot of money for these shots either, using something as simple as a camera phone will do the trick.

Full Body Shots

You don’t need to pose nude to get a good full body shot. Many people enjoy taking photos outdoors, or during an activity they enjoy. These shots also don’t need to be taken up close if you aren’t comfortable with that. Have a friend with a camera snap some shots next time you are at a picnic, playing soccer, or whatever you enjoy doing outdoors. The natural light will make you look much better.

Naughty Shots

If you are advertising in a swingers advert, nude, semi-nude, and sexual shots are usually acceptable. This doesn’t mean you have to go this far. If you aren’t comfortable you can take photos of your feet in a pair of sexy shoes, a shot of your chest showing a little cleavage, etc. If you are comfortable with more, then go for it! You can always set these photos to private and only share them when you are ready.

Don’t Make a List

Yes, you are probably looking for someone that meets certain criteria, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, if you create a list of things you are looking for you end up coming across as a picky jerk. You can talk about the things that are important without listing them. For instance, if you are looking for someone who is athletic, you can say something about how important fitness is to you and you are looking for someone who shares this sentiment. You can do the same about physical attributes you are looking for.

Don’t Use Clichés

No one wants to read a profile advert that says the same things that all the others say. Don’t say you are interested in romantic walks on the beach and love music. Everyone likes this. Instead, if you want to grab someone’s attention, talk about what you like about a specific genre of music, or why you like some of the activities you are in to. Do you like rock climbing for the danger aspect, or for the feeling of being close with nature? Mention these things. It will bring you more attention and get you more serious responses.

Paper Adverts

One of the most common places to find adverts for swingers is in adult oriented magazines and newsletters. You can subscribe to these online or find the papers at any adult novelty shop. Since novelty shops cater to sexually open adults, many local magazines will place their materials in racks near the door. Accurate Descriptions

If an advert states they are looking for an athletic couple and you don’t fit this bill, don’t waste your time replying unless you think you have something to offer. In this case, you want to lay all your cards on the table. Explain why you think you’d be perfect, and then leave the descriptions for the end of the response. Just be sure you give accurate descriptions to avoid issues later. If you don’t hear back, don’t take it personally. A lot of profiles get created then never checked again. Others are unrealistic and picky. Not getting a response isn’t an attack on you personally. You may not be what they are looking for. So just keep searching, and work on crafting great responses. You will eventually meet what you are looking for.
